Record High Temps Possible for End of February

Warming trend will continue for today. We will have a breezy southeast wind turning to the south at 15 to 25 mph. Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny and highs should be in the 50s. Tomorrow we will likely experience some record highs in the low 60s under a mix of sun and clouds. For many locations it will be the first time ever to hit 60 in February.
A strong cold front will cruise through our area Tuesday night. It will produce a chance of rain that will quickly change to snow as temperatures plummet through the night. It will be a flash freeze as temps will be down into the lower teens by Wednesday morning with a possibility of 1 to 3 inches of snow. Otherwise, it will be blustery and cold on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies developing. Highs will only reach the high teens.
Long Range Forecast 5-10 Day
After Wednesday we will experience a steady warming trend culminating in some very warm conditions by Sunday. It will be fairly breezy through the period with a good amount of sunshine. High temps will reach the low 40s on Thursday, the low to mid 50s on Friday, upper 50’s for the weekend.
