Home Stretch
Short Range Forecast 1-4 Day
Monday looks to be a cloudy day with a cold front approaching from the west will bring clouds and a chance of rain – mainly during the afternoon. The rain might mix with snow at times. There might be up to an inch of snow in a couple of spots. Highs will be in the mid 40s early, then temps will drop during the afternoon. Winds will be out of the north at 10-15 mph.
A little high pressure will move in tomorrow and linger through most of Thursday. This means more sun than clouds and highs in the upper 40s. It will be a nice stretch of weather for spring lovers.
The next storm system to affect our area will move in from the southwest late Thursday. It will bring a mix of rain and snow Thursday night into Friday. It is a little too early to say how much snow will accumulate, but most likely not too much as high temps will still be in the upper 30’s on Friday.
Long Range Forecast 5-10 Day
The clouds should break up again over the weekend. It will be a little cooler on Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 30’s, then it will be nice again to start the week of March 11th with temps most of the week in the mid 50’s. The mild winter continues through the middle of March. Only wish at this point I saw a late winter storm approaching for a least one ride for the end of the season. I do believe it’s time to summarize the sleds and start thinking about pontoon season.
