Short Range Forecast
The weather will be quite warm to begin the week and then cool down closer to normal by the end. The temperatures will change but there is still not much chance of significant precipitation. Conditions will be a little cool to start your Monday, then you will probably be able to wear a light jacket later on as high temps will reach the upper 50s. Skies will be mostly sunny and the wind will be out of the southwest at around 10 mph. Tomorrow will be even warmer with highs in the low 60s under partly cloudy skies. Wednesday will also be well above normal with mixed skies and highs near 60.
Thursday is when you will feel a change in the weather. The wind will turn to the northeast, more clouds will move in and there is a chance of rain. The rain will come along with a low pressure system tracking to our south. The highest chance of the rain will be south of Wausau. Highs will be in the upper 40s
Friday will be dry with a variably cloudy sky and highs in the upper 40s. It will be cooler, but still 10 degrees above normal.
Long Range Forecast 5-10 Day
A cold front and upper level trough will move into the area over the weekend. This means partly to mostly cloudy skies and a small chance of precipitation. We could have some spotty rain and snow showers on Saturday and a few light snow showers on Sunday. The mercury will still be in the 40s on Saturday and then will likely cool off into the 30s for Sunday.
