Bitter Cold

The sun will be shinning today, but it will be bitter cold. High temps today and tomorrow will be in the single digits below zero and low temps will be around 26 below zero. The wind chill will be around -30 for most of the time. Because of the bitter cold, a COLD ADVISORY has been issued for the entire through this evening. An EXTREME COLD WARNING will go into effect late tonight into Tuesday morning. During this time frame, winds will be out of the west-northwest at about 10 to 15 mph

Clouds will increase Tuesday evening as a weak low pressure system moves into Wisconsin. This will bring a chance of light snow from Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon. A dusting up to an inch is possible in spots so the roads could be a bit slippery for the Wednesday morning commute. Temps will also warm up a bit, reaching the mid to upper teens under mostly cloudy skies.

Later in the week, the weather will remain fairly uneventful and milder. There will be more clouds than sun and mostly dry weather. There is only a slight chance of a few snow showers or flurries on Saturday. Highs on Saturday will be around 25, perfect for Ice fishing. Here’s your 10 day outlook.
