Snowy Weekend
Thursday will be warm with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 40s, with Friday a little cooler but still mild with highs in the lower 30’s.
This weekend a low pressure system will move across the Upper Midwest and bring a chance of snow. This snow event will start Saturday morning and finish up by noon on Sunday. In the Vilas county area we will see anywhere from 2-5 inches of possible accumulation. Highs will be in the mid 20s on Saturday and Sunday in the upper 30’s.
A cold front will move in for next week. Highs will be in the mid teens on Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday. These chilly temperatures will be perfect for your 2 stroke snowmobiles.
The snow patterns for the first half of February look to have many chances for measurable snow to hit our Northwoods of Wisconsin, fingers crossed we become the center of a couple big storms.
